Amazon has published a list for an unpublished Hue Philips lamp that promises to flood its walls with color. The Smart Wall Play Play washing machine, seen by Hueblog.com, currently appears in the Amazon United Kingdom store, although there is still no launch date or price available.
The smart wall washing machine combines the best features of two of our favorite smart lights: Philips Hue Play Light Bar and Philips Hue Twilight.
Like the light bar, it can be synchronized with an HDMI fountain to project colored light on the walls behind its television, or be used only to help establish the mood. If you have other Hue Philips lights, you can group them together with the smart wall washing machine and apply the same scene or automation to all.
Look at the back of the smart wall washing machine and notice a configuration very similar to the LED panel in the back of the philips cue twilip. Like the twilight, the wall washing machine presents a system called colorcast that uses “LED with roots” to create a flashy and soft color gradient on the closest wall.
When we tried twilight, Colorcast was one of our favorite characteristics. “The LEDs point slightly up, which allows them to spray a wonderful cone of illuminated walls,” said Josephine Watson, Lifestyle manager editor. It seems that the smart wall washing machine will offer the same results, but in a larger area.

The smart wall washing machine measures 3.6 x 3 x 6.2 inches / 9.1 x 7.6 x 15.7 cm, which is even smaller than the light bar. However, with a maximum of 1035 lumens, the wall washing machine is twice brighter.
The United Kingdom list is for a single lamp, but some of the lifestyle images show a couple of intelligent wall washing machines linked to a television through an HDMI synchronization playback, so it is possible that they are also sold in multiple packages.
The case of the smart wall washing machine has a matt finish to help avoid unwanted light reflections, already judging by the images on the Amazon list, seems to be available in black and white.
Signify has not officially announced the smart wall washing machine, but I will keep it updated as soon as it has more details about prices and availability.
