The executive director of PIA, Pakistan International Airlines Avm, Amir Hayat, requested on Saturday to the Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar. Appreciating the continuous support of DPM/FM, he requested greater diplomatic assistance for the resumption of flights to the United Kingdom. Dar reported that he and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were actively committed to the United Kingdom authorities to guarantee the prohibition lifting as soon as possible. The CEO acknowledged that during the PDM government (2022-2023) the necessary bases were established, which allowed PIA and fulfill the OACO requirements.
