Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the terrorist attack against Jaffar Express in Baluchistan, stating that such cowardly acts will not weaken Pakistan’s commitment to peace.
In a statement published on the social media platform X, the prime minister expressed shock and sadness for the attack, which claimed the lives of innocent passengers. He shared that he had spoken with Baluchistan’s prime minister, Sarfaraz Bugti, who informed him about the latest developments on the attack.

“The whole nation is deeply shocked by this active act and saddened by the loss of innocent lives,” he said. “I offer my most sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayer for Allah to grant them the highest rows of Jannah. I also wish a rapid recovery to the injured.”
The prime minister announced that dozens of the terrorists responsible for the attack have been “sent to hell”, as the security forces continue the operations to eliminate the threat.
A day before, Jaffar Express, with more than 400 passengers on board in nine Bogies, was on the way to Quetta to Peshawar when he was attacked in the Dhadar area of Bolan Pass on Tuesday.
“The 33 terrorists have been sent to hell … Four staff of the border body hugged martyrdom during the authorization operation,” confirmed Wednesday the general director of Public Relations between Services (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
