Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the unwavering solidarity of Pakistan with Saudi Arabia and Qatar on Tuesday, as the regional security situation in the Middle East increased after Iran’s missile attacks in a military base in the United States in Qatar.
Prime Minister Shehbaz met separately with the ambassadors of Saudi and Qatar Arabia in Islamabad to discuss the situation in rapid evolution in the region.
Both commitments took place after the missile strike on Monday night, as reported that he went to an American installation in the Gulf, according to the prime minister’s office.
Shehbaz met the Saudi ambassador Nawaf Bin Saeed al Malkiy to exchange views on the ongoing developments and reiterated Pakistan’s strong support for the kingdom.
In a publication on the social media platform X, the prime minister wrote: “He met the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today and discussed the situation in rapid evolution in the Middle East … Pakistan will continue to work closely with the kingdom of Saudi Arabia for peace in the region through dialogue and diplomacy.”

At a separate meeting, the prime minister received the Qatar Ambassador Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, during which he expressed solidarity with the Amir and the people of Qatar after the attack on the military base of the United States the previous night.

Publishing in X, Prime Minister Shehbaz said: “We pray for the safety of our brothers and sisters Qatar, and the entire region.”
He reaffirmed that Pakistan has always advocated dialogue and diplomacy as the only viable path to peace in the Middle East.
The prime minister had held telephone conversations with both ambassadors shortly after news of missile attacks were broken. During these calls, he transmitted the serious concern of Pakistan for the incident and urged all parties to follow the immediate decline.
According to official sources, during the call with Ambassador Al-Khat, Qatar’s envoy thanked Shehbaz for his rapid dissemination, calling him a significant gesture of solidarity during a “more unfortunate development.”
In the telephone exchange with the Saudi ambassador, Shehbaz reiterated Pakistan’s call to Suestrar and peaceful resolution.
The ambassador to Malkiy welcomed the statement and agreed that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia should be coordinated closely to avoid a greater escalation.

In the statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Pakistan strongly condemns the violations of the principle of respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries. He asked all parties to adhere to the fundamental principles of international law and urged the restriction exercise by all parties.

The statement also reiterated Pakistan’s consistent position that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path to resolve conflicts, and requested immediate measures to discourage tensions to avoid greater destabilization in the region.
Meanwhile, Israel has confirmed that it has accepted a proposal of high US negotiation fire with Iran, after the mediation efforts led by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, according to a statement issued by the Israeli government.
Netanyahu thanked Trump for his support during the climb, accrediting the US administration for supporting Israel’s military position and helping to neutralize what he described as “the Iranian nuclear threat.”
However, Iran has denied having accepted any formal fire. In a televised informative session, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi rejected the reports that Tehran had accepted the United States truce.
“There is no such agreement on our side,” Araghchi said, describing the claims as “propaganda” and reiterating that Iran reserves the right to defend his sovereignty before foreign aggression.
Iran said it would stop strikes if Israeli attacks stop.
