Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif pays tribute to “voluntary heroes” to donate blood selflessly, emphasized the need for greater public awareness about the critical need for regular blood donations for patients.
“There is a need for greater public awareness about the critical need for regular blood donations for patients who undergo surgeries, childbirth and for those who suffer serious ailments such as cancer and anemia,” said Prime Minister in his message to the Nation on World Day for Blood Donors commemorated annually on June 14.
“Together we do Pakistan safer, protected and healthier,” he added.
