PM intervenes the fall of taketable gases

Islamabad:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif convened the senior management of gas companies for a night meeting to review the supply situation after load displacement complaints during the time of Sehr and IFTAR in the Sacred month of Ramazan.

Taking note of the public’s difficulties, the prime minister directed the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and the Sui Northern Limited (SNGPL) pipelines to take immediate corrective measures to guarantee the supply of uninterrupted gas to homes during Sehi and IFTAR.

“The prime minister held an emergency meeting late at night with respect to this issue,” said an official brochure. During the meeting, the managing directors and the senior management of the gas companies discussed in detail the problems of the gas supply during Sehr and IFTAR.

After the instructions of the Prime Minister, SSGC decided to immediately increase the gas pressure by 10%. Public gas services assured that the gas supply would begin between 30 and 45 minutes before Sehr and IFTAR, with improved pressure in the affected areas.

After the meeting, SSGC announced the establishment of control rooms in your head and regional offices to monitor the gas distribution system. These control rooms will review the supply situation daily, ensuring that low pressure complaints are solved in an emerging way.

Meanwhile, a SNGPL spokesman confirmed that immediate measures had been taken on the instructions of the Prime Minister and assured that the gas supply during Sehr and IFTAR would remain at all costs. The spokesman also urged citizens to report complaints by calling 1199.

Previously, people in many parts of the country, including Karachi, complained about the removal of gas loading during Sehr and Ifar. In response, Sindh’s Minister of Energy, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, appealed to Prime Minister so that he did not order electricity and gas not to emerge from electricity and gas during Ramazan.

United Kingdom HC calls pm

The United Kingdom High Commissioner Jane Marriott paid on Monday a courtesy call about Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the PM Chamber the Prime Minister.

The prime minister transmitted his greetings to King Carlos III and wished him a quick recovery to complete health. He also reiterated his invitation to the King for making a real visit to Pakistan as soon as possible.
