PM lauds delegation directed by Bilawal for effective global diplomacy

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the President of the Popular Party of Pakistan (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Sarto Sarto, and members of the High Level Diplomatic Delegation, so he called a “highly effective” visit to the United States and Europe, undertaken to counteract the recent propaganda campaign of India and highlight the perspective of Pakistan in the last tensions Delhi

According to a statement issued by Prime Minister’s office, Bilawal, who directed the delegation in the Prime Minister’s board, asked the prime minister in Islamabad to report it on the result of the visit. The prime minister organized a dinner in honor of the delegation.

The visit, which covered key capitals in the United States union, the United Kingdom and Europe, was aimed at presenting Islamabad’s position on the recent conflict with India and avoiding greater escalation between the two neighbors with nuclear weapons.

Praising the efforts of the delegation, the prime minister said that Pakistan’s position was transmitted abroad with “clarity, composure and national spirit”, and was recognized worldwide. “The delegation fought against the case of Pakistan with great zeal and returned victorious,” the statement said.

Prime Minister Shehbaz especially praised Bilawal for his leadership and diplomatic insight, added that the delegation correctly articulated the events of the Pahalgam incident to the concerns related to the Indo Water Treaty.

The prime minister commented that the “unjustified war hysteria” of India “had fulfilled a firm diplomatic and strategic response.” By the grace of Allah Almighty, the prayers of the nation and the military force of our brave armed forces, India had to pay a heavy price, “he said.

The prime minister also referred to the federal budget for the next fiscal year, saying that the Government had done everything possible to provide relief to all segments of society, particularly salaried workers. He thanked all the partners of the coalition, including the PPP, for their cooperation in the preparation of the budget.

Looking towards the future, he expressed his confidence that with the guidance and contribution of experienced political and diplomatic figures such as those of the delegation, the government would successfully navigate internal and external challenges.
