Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged the nation on Sunday to make efforts dedicated in line with the principles of unity, faith and discipline of Quaid-E-Azam to achieve the dream of making Pakistan a prosperous state and well-being.
The prime minister, in his televised video message on Pakistan’s day, thanked the Almighty and expressed his gratitude to the ancestors, including Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Alia Iqbal and others, whose wise forecast and leadership led to the creation of Pakistan as a separate route.
He said that the resolution of Pakistan, which was approved on March 23, 1940, was a testimony of the unwavering commitment of ancestors with the cause of independence.
The prime minister said that the Pakistan flag symbolized the firm resolution and struggle of our ancestors during the Pakistan movement.
“Today, Pakistan stands as a free and sovereign nation, for which we are grateful to Almighty,” he added.
He appreciated the contributions of the Armed Forces, the industries, the education sector and the athletes of Pakistan on the global stage and bring to the country with the Parliament, the Judiciary and the executives who also fulfill their constitutional duties.
He said that, as a consequence of tireless efforts, the government had achieved economic stability and the process of institutional reforms and structural changes was in progress.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also greeted the courage of the armed forces, the police, the rangers and the agencies of application of Pakistan’s law for their continuous fight against terrorism.
“We promise to follow the principles of unity, faith and discipline, as established by the quaid-e-Azam, and we work together to build a great Pakistan, developed and oriented to well-being,” he said.
