Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with the heir prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz in Makkah during an official two -day visit on Friday. The meeting saw a constructive exchange of opinions on the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in political, economic and security domains.
According to a statement from the office of the Prime Minister, the meeting reaffirmed the strategic and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, and both leaders highlighted the importance of continuing their solid association.
Premier Sharif extended the sincere greetings to King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and the heir prince Mohammed Bin Salman, praising the hospitality of the kingdom and the exceptional service to the pilgrims of Hajj around the world.
The statement also extended gratitude for the efforts of the custodian of the two sacred mosques and the heir prince, who secured a safe and spiritually satisfactory pilgrimage experience.

The prime minister expressed his appreciation for the proactive role of Saudi Arabia in the mitigation of tensions between Pakistan and India. He praised the firm commitment of the kingdom to promote peace and stability in the region and beyond.
Highlighting the Pakistan of responsible Pakistan in the face of Indian aggression, Prime Minister Sharif stressed that sustainable peace in southern Asia can only be achieved through dialogue and cooperation.
Prime Minister Sharif expressed his satisfaction with the growing impulse of these associations and reiterated that both countries remain committed to raising this strategic relationship with new heights.
The two leaders agreed to further align their efforts with the shared vision of leadership and aspirations of the fraternal people of both nations, the statement said.
The prime minister extended an invitation to the heir prince to visit Pakistan as soon as possible, which he accepted, reinforcing the mutual commitment to deepen the multifaceted ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The two also addressed the serious humanitarian situation in Gaza. Both leaders emphasized the need for the international community to fulfill their moral and legal obligations to put an end to suffering and reiterated their unwavering support for a fair and lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue.
They emphasized the importance of the Arab Peace Initiative and the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council as the basis of any lasting solution, the statement added.
The prime minister was accompanied to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, the head of the army of army staff, Syed also Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and the Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar.

Previously, Prime Minister Sharif and Munir Marshal, along with the upper ministers, made Umrah on Thursday night during the official visit to Saudi Arabia.
In a weird gesture, the door of the saint Kaaba in Makkah opened especially for the visitor Pakistani delegation. The leaders offered Nawafil sentences and expressed their gratitude for what they described as the success of Bunyanum Marsoos, a reference to the ongoing efforts for national unity and resilience.
During the sacred pilgrimage, the prime minister and his delegation also offered special prayers of thanks for recent developments in the economic and social sectors of Pakistan. Supplies were made for the continuous prosperity and stability of the nation.
