Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during his four-day visit to Saudi Arabia, presented his respects in Roza-E-Rasool (Pbuh) on Thursday, offering prayers for the progress of Pakistan and the unity in the Muslim world.
In the second section of his trip, the prime minister and his high-level delegation received exclusive access to Riaz-Ul-Jannah.
Accompanied by his delegation, Prime Minister Shehbaz made Nawafil prayers in Masjid-E-Nabawi, praying for the prosperity of Pakistan and the unity of Muslims worldwide.
The visit marks a significant moment to strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as underlines the commitment of the prime minister with peace and progress in the region.
Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Jeddah on Wednesday for a four -day visit to Saudi Arabia focused on strengthening bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Upon his arrival, he was received by Prince Saud Bin Mishaal, the Vice Governor of Makkah.
During the visit, Sharif is scheduled to meet with the Saudi heir Prince Mohammed Bin Salman to discuss trade improvement, associations in key sectors and the expansion of general economic collaboration.
The visit follows the signing of 34 comprehension memorandum (MOU) worth $ 2.8 billion last October, with the aim of increasing cooperation of the private sector.
Discussions will also cover regional problems, including the situation in Gaza, the dynamics of the Middle East and concerns for the Muslim world.
The 2030 vision of Saudi Arabia offers significant opportunities for Pakistani companies, especially due to the strong demand of consumers.
The Pakistani diaspora in Saudi Arabia, which adds 2.7 million, plays a vital role in sending remittances. The Sharif delegation includes key officials, including Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz, who will explore new investment opportunities during the visit.
