Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Thursday that Pakistan was ready for dialogue with India for the sake of peace, but conversations should be on the subject of Kashmir and for the granting of the right to self -determination to the Kashmir.
He made the offer while talking to the pilots and the Pakistan Air Force staff during a special visit to the Kamra Air Base.
He said that Pakistan was ready for conversations with India to achieve peace, but had certain conditions.
He asked India to have conversations on the subject of Kashmir, adding that the people of busy Kashmir should have their right to self -determination in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
The movement of Kashmir’s freedom was very alive, he said and added that Pakistan was erroneously accused of Pahalgam’s incident.
Pakistan wanted a transparent investigation into the incident, but India resorted to aggression instead of conducting investigation into the incident, he continued.
The prime minister visited the Air Base to appreciate the Pakistan Air Force, which successfully defended the Nation during one of the longest aerial commitments of the 21st century, firmly establishing Pakistan’s aerial superiority by demolishing Indian airplanes in a critical defense operation.

By reaffirming the collective determination of the government and the nation, the prime minister said: “The armed forces of Pakistan remain completely prepared and decidedly committed to defending every centimeter of our territory. Any aggression will be counteracted with a timely, proportional and decisive response. We are united, vigilant and unexpected for the defense of our homeland.”
The coordination between the branches of the Armed Forces was exemplary, he said that adding the Navy of Pakistan was ready to respond to the enemy’s aggression as it did in 1965.
The prime minister said that the nation would never forget the sacrifices of its armed forces.
He said that Pakistan acted with patience and tolerance for the aggression of the enemy who rejected the peace offer and launched an attack that was responded by the forces.
The enemy attacked innocent children, mothers and young people who did not commit anything bad, he said and added that Pakistan’s forces accurately attacked the enemy’s military facilities.
He made it clear that peace was Pakistan’s desire, but the enemy should not see him as a weakness.
He assured that the government would be in charge of the heirs of the personnel of the Armed Forces that were martyred.
Speaking of acts of terrorism in Pakistan, he said that India had a role in kidnapping trains in Baluchistan.
He recalled that an Indian officer participated in the Samjotha Express incident, added that everyone knew who was involved in the formation of Mukti Bahini at the time this Pakistan.
He said that Pakistan suffered immensely during the war against terrorism and that India had a hand.
