ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Wednesday that Pakistan-Turkiye relations had entered a new era of strategic partnership under the “astute” leadership of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Prime Minister, who is currently on a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia, said in his message on the occasion of the 102nd Turkiye Republic Day being celebrated today, that the two countries are striving together to unlock the vast potential of time-tested and enduring ties in all areas of shared interest.
“On the auspicious occasion of the 102nd Republic Day of Turkiye, I join the people of Pakistan in extending our warmest congratulations to my dear brother President Erdogan and the brotherly people of Turkiye,” he wrote in his X timeline.
He said that over decades, Turkiye’s remarkable transformation and economic resurgence under the bold and dynamic leadership of President Erdogan had earned global admiration.
“We are very proud of the achievements of our Turkish brothers and remain their firm partners on this path of progress. Pakistan and Turkiye are united by bonds of faith, history and brotherhood that transcend geography and time,” said Prime Minister Shehbaz.
