Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has embarked on an official two -day visit to the United Arab Emirates (EAU) to participate in the World Summit of Governments (WGS) in Dubai.
By invitation of the vice president and prime minister of the EAU, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum, Prime Minister Shehbaz will join world leaders, political leaders and private sector figures to discuss governance, innovation and international cooperation, according to a statement of the foreign office of Pakistan.
It is accompanied by a high -level delegation, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, ISHAQ Dar and other key cabinet members, which reflects Pakistan’s commitment to strengthen ties with the EAU and participate with global partners.
During the summit, the prime minister is expected to deliver an opening speech describing Pakistan’s vision for inclusive economic growth, digital transformation and governance reforms.
It will also celebrate bilateral meetings with the leadership of the EAU, as well as interact with the CEOs of the heads of state and multinationals attending the event.
“Pakistan and the EAU share a deeply rooted relationship based on mutual trust and cooperation,” said the Foreign Ministry, adding that the EAU remain a key economic and strategic partner for Pakistan in multiple sectors.
The visit occurs when Pakistan seeks to improve economic collaboration and attract foreign investments.
