Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif went on Thursday for an official one -day visit to the United Arab Emirates (EAU), where he will meet with the leadership of the EAU along with his delegation.
The prime minister is accompanied by the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, the Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar and special assistant of the PM (SAPM) Tariq Fatemi.
The visit reflects the fraternal ties rooted between Pakistan and the EAU, which are marked by mutual trust, shared values and close cooperation in multiple sectors, declared a press release from the Foreign Ministry (FO).
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz will hold high -level meetings with the leadership of the EAU, including a bilateral meeting with the president of the EAU and the ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed al Nahyan.
A wide range of bilateral, regional and global problems of mutual interest and concern will be discussed during high -level interactions.
According to the FO, the visit of the Prime Minister will further strengthen the long -standing fraternal relationships between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, deepen economic ties and promote multifaceted collaboration.
It is also a manifestation of the shared commitment of Pakistan and the EAU to reinforce the mutually beneficial strategic association, improve cooperation in existing areas of mutual interest and explore new avenues to further strengthen bilateral cordial relations.
Earlier this year, the president of the EAU visited Pakistan and landed at Rahim Yar Khan in January.
During a meeting, the ruler of the EAU and Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed their shared commitment to deepen economic, political and cultural ties.
They discussed a wide range of issues, including economic collaboration, regional stability, climate change and the promotion of mutual interests in the global stage.
Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the great interest of the EAU in collaborating with Pakistan in the mineral, mineral and agricultural sectors.
The prime minister extended his gratitude to Sheikh Mohamed for the unwavering support of the EAU during critical moments, particularly in humanitarian assistance and development aid.
Both leaders reaffirmed their dedication to peace and progress in the region, promising to work closely in matters of mutual interest.
The meeting concluded with a joint resolution of promoting greater cooperation, particularly in priority sectors, ensuring a brighter future for both nations.
