Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Wednesday with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss national security and continuous repatriation of Afghan citizens.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s office, NAQVI informed the prime minister on current security measures during Eidul Fitr and the progress in the return of undocumented foreigners and headlines of Afghan citizen cards.
Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed his satisfaction on the Pacific environment during the EID, praising the efforts of the law application agencies.
The meeting also included a review of issues related to the Ministry of Interior, with an approach to the compliance actions after the newspaper for Afghan repatriation.

Initially, the Government had established a deadline for March 31 for Afghans who had specific documentation to leave the country, intensifying efforts to repatriate Afghan citizens.
However, the government has now extended the deadline until the beginning of next week due to the holiday period, according to an official.
The Afghan who have Afghan citizens cards (ACC), issued by the Pakistani authorities and, according to the reports, the 800,000 people, according to the United Nations, will be subject to deportation once the new term expires.
