Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Wednesday that bilateral ties between US-Pakistan were entering a renewed friendship, and that nearby contacts returned again.
The prime minister also mentioned that the PAK-US enjoyed historical, long data and wide-based ties that covered centuries. The United States had supported Pakistan with the construction of dams and other development projects.
Going to a ceremony held at the United States embassy in relation to the celebration of the 249th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States, he said that the Pakistani nation joined the people of the United States to pay tribute to the founding parents of the United States, whose vision and wisdom had changed the course of history.
The event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, ISHAQ Dar, Ministers, Parliamentarians and members of the Diplomatic Corps.
The prime minister added that his democratic struggle, a rule of constitution and equality also resonates with the ideals of Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding father of Pakistan.
He said that in the Kakul Academy event, he had offered a credible and transparent international investigation into the Pahlagam incident so that the world will see and review reality and fiction.
He said that the recent armed conflict between Pakistan and India, which lasted four days, established the fact that “Pahalgam’s incident was a false flag operation.”
If this had been something different from what I was saying, India should have come out with solid and convinced of the world about the occurrence of the incident, he said.
“Our sincere offer was answered with aggression, but Pakistan showed a lot of tolerance and a lot of patience,” he said, adding from May 6 to 7, 33 Pakistani were martyred in the Indian aggression, including children and elders and scores other injured.
The prime minister said that Pakistan in his right to self -defense knocked down six Indian planes. At that time, the friends who were in contact with them, transmit that Pakistan had responded and that it was enough, and that peace and high fire should be restored.
He reiterated that Pakistan was always committed to peace and decallation, but India had attacked them despite the fact that he had offered a very genuine offer for rediscaling.
Appreciating the role of US President Trump to guarantee the high fire, the prime minister said he had undoubtedly demonstrated that “he is a man for peace, he is a man to promote peace and beneficial businesses.”
“President Trump is a man against climbing and a man against the cold and hot war,” he said, adding that Trump believed in humanity to live in tranquility and contribute to progress and prosperity not particularly in a region, but worldwide, as manifested in his statements, in recent weeks.
The president of the United States had advised Pakistan and India to go to commerce, investment and renounce war and unworthy, he added.
The Prime Minister appreciated Trump’s contribution to achieve the high fire in this region.
He also praised the role of the friendly and fraternal countries of the Middle East who coordinated and proactively supported Trump’s genuine efforts and expressed hope that the durable fire would be a high.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also extended sincere congratulations to the president of the United States, Trump and the people of the United States, in his name and in the name of the Pakistani nation, celebrating his independence day.
The prime minister also said that Pakistan had revived and strengthened his economy and always spoke for peace, progress and prosperity, not only in the region, but throughout the world.
He expressed the hope that the bilateral trade of Pak-US would grow in volumes in the fields of IT, Agriculture, Education, Health, etc., since both countries discussed the tariff issue.
He said he was really inspired by Trump’s vision for commerce, investment and growth.
