PM Shehbaz to visit EAU for high -level conversations on June 12

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will carry out an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (EAU) on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

The visit highlights the deep fraternal relationships between Pakistan and the EAU, built on mutual trust, shared values ​​and narrow cooperation in multiple sectors.

The prime minister will be accompanied by the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the federal ministers and other senior officials.

During the visit, Shehbaz will hold high -level commitments with the leadership of the EAU, including a bilateral meeting with the president of the EAU and the ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed al Nahyan.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a wide range of bilateral, regional and global issues of interest and mutual concern will be discussed during interactions.

The visit aims to further deepen economic cooperation, strengthen political understanding and promote multifaceted collaboration between sectors, including trade, investment, energy and work.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the visit is a demonstration of Pakistan’s shared commitment and the EAU to improve their strategic association.

Both parties are expected to explore new ways for collaboration, while reinforcing their long cordial ties.

Shehbaz also had telephone conversations with several world leaders on the occasion of Eidul Azha. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, unity within the Muslim Ummah and the strongest bilateral cooperation.

The discussions served to extend holiday greetings and promote shared values ​​of solidarity and mutual respect between nations.

Previously, Shehbaz made an official two -day visit to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he had conversations with the crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

The visit coincided with Eidul Azha and aimed to express Pakistan’s appreciation for the constructive role of the kingdom in the ease of tensions between Pakistan and India during his recent conflict.

The prime minister was accompanied by a high -level delegation, including senior ministers and officials, reflecting the importance of Islamabad to the visit.

In May, Shehbaz Sharif concluded a six -day tour of Turkiye, Iran, Azerbaijan and Tayikistan.

That tour was made to consolidate the regional ties and personally thank the leadership of those nations for their support during the crisis with India.

The trip concluded in Tayikistan, where the prime minister participated in the International Glacier Conference in Dushanbe, reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to regional cooperation in climate matters.

Both diplomatic commitments were described by the Foreign Ministry as part of Pakistan’s broader effort to reinforce strategic associations, strengthen economic relations and strengthen solidarity within the region.
