PM, the president extends the greetings of Eid-Ul-Adha, asks for unity and sacrifice

Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated today in all Pakistan with religious zeal and fervor to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of the prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the Ismail prophet (as) and the call to compassion and national unity.

About unity and sacrifice

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zarari and the head of the Army staff (COAS) and the field marshal also extended congratulations to the country and the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha. They requested the national unity, compassion and collective sacrifice to overcome the challenges at home and abroad.

Prime Minister Shehbaz congratulated Muslims around the world and paid tribute to the spirit of devotion and disinterest demonstrated by the prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the prophet Ismail (AS).

“These blessed days remind us of the exemplary fidelity and the sacrifice of the prophet Ibrahim (as) and the prophet Ismail (as), he said, added that his submission to Allah’s will had been raised to an act of worship.

The essence of Eidul Adha goes beyond the sacrifice of animals, he said. “Eidul Adha’s message teaches us to sacrifice ourselves, our desires and our interests for major objectives.”

Shehbaz observed that the qualities of patience, courage and altruism are essential for the progress of a nation. “Today our beloved country Pakistan is on the path of progress and at this time we have to embrace the spirit of solidarity and sacrifice.”

He urged people to show unity, facing internal economic and social challenges, as they did when the nation remained firm in front of external threats. Referring to Pakistan’s response to the recent Indian aggression, he recalled that the country had shown an unwavering resolution in defending his dignity and sovereign.

“We must group our resources to make our country strong, prosperous and self -sufficient,” he said. “We must prioritize national interest on personal interest.”

Shehbaz expressed a deep concern for the suffering of the people of Palestine and India, illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk), and reiterated the unwavering support of Pakistan for her right to self -determination. “We will always be your voice and support your transcendental struggle.”

The prime minister prayed by the National Force, true happiness and the ability to act according to the true spirit of sacrifice and disinterest.

Similarly, President Zardari also extended his sincere congratulations to the nation and the broader Muslim community, calling Eidul adha a reminder of obedience, devotion and brotherhood.

“This day revives in us the spirit of faith, sacrifice, disinterest and unity. That this eid is a source of blessings, peace and prosperity for our country and the Muslim Ummah, love.”

He emphasized the importance of integrating these values ​​into daily life. “Eid calls us to make a solemn promise to always take care of those in need, whether poor, sick or homeless.”

Zardari urged the nation to support each other, especially the disadvantaged, and to encourage love and brotherhood while eliminating hatred and prejudices.

The upper brass of the army also extended eid greetings to people. According to a statement issued by public relations between services (ISPR), the Armed Forces offered prayers for peace, prosperity and national cohesion in the country.

COAS and the Municipal Marshal Munir, president of the Joint Committee of Chiefs of General Staff, Head of Naval Personnel and Head of Airstoff, all extended their fecilitations to the people.

They praised the resistance of the Pakistani people and greeted the courage of the armed forces, the agencies of application of the law and the citizens who continue to defend the security and stability of the nation. Military leadership recognized Eidul Adha as a moment of reflection, sacrifice and unity, and asked all Pakistani to use this occasion to promote harmony and strengthen the tissue of the nation.

Fervor celebrations

Eidul Adha is celebrated today with religious fervor and reverence, since millions of Muslims meet for prayers and make sacrifices in memory of the devotion of the prophet Ibrahim (AS).

Large congregations were made for eid sentences in mosques, Eidgahs, Imambargahs and open spaces throughout the country.

In Islamabad, the faithful offered Eid sentences in the Shah Faisal Mosque and other main sites, where special prayers were also made for the armed forces, the national unity and the progress and prosperity of the country.

In Lahore, EID prayers were directed by the president of the Islamic Ideology Council Raghib Naeemi in Darul Ulom Jamia Naemi. A large -scale collective sacrifice has been organized in the seminar, where 180 animals were sacrificed on the first day. A total of 300 sacrifices are planned for three days. Similar arrangements were made in other parts of the city.

The Punjab Police Inspector, Dr. Usman, Anwar, said the Police Special Police teams and the Fast Response Force (QRF) had been deployed throughout the province. In Lahore alone, more than 6,000 officers were assigned to ensure more than 5,000 prayer meetings.

In Rawalpindi, 604 mosques, 72 imambargahs and 62 open spaces organized EID congregations, with 2,700 police personnel that provide security.

In Karachi, eid sentences were offered in different mosques of the city. The clergymen throughout the country delivered sermons about the spiritual and philosophical meaning of the sacrifice of the prophet Ibrahim (AS).

Special sentences were also offered for the Muslim UMMAH unity, the national development and the well -being of the Palestinians and the assholes.

In Hyderabad and the surrounding areas, more than 1,000 small and large prayer meetings were organized. Many residents visited cemeteries after EID prayers to offer Fateha to dead loved ones, before starting animal sacrifices.

In Peshawar, the main congregations took place in the Central Eidgah and several neighborhoods, which reflects the same spirit of solemnity and unity.

Strict security measures were established throughout the country, with the police, the rangers and other agencies of application of the law in maximum alert to guarantee security during sentences and sacrifice activities.

Millions of citizens will continue to offer sacrifices in the next two days, fulfilling the Sunnah of the prophet Ibrahim (as) and sharing meat with the disadvantaged.
