Islamabad:
The Department of Meteorological of Pakistan (PMD) reported that the June monzón brought normal rain to most parts in most parts of the country, with almost 10 important rain systems that lead to serious floods in the regions of the north and east.
However, the next season is expected to bring a contrasting pattern.
According to PMD, it is likely to be a rain below normal in Gilgit-Baltan, Kashmir and northern Punjab, while almost normal rain is forecast for Sindh, southern Baluchistan and southern Punjab, conditions that are expected to maintain the stable general situation.
