Islamabad:
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced the schedule for the Admission of Medicine and Odental School (MDCAT) 2025, confirming that the national exam will take place on October 5 at 10:00 am
According to the official notification, students will only be allowed to appear for the MDCAT in the province corresponding to their home. The PMDC emphasized that this policy applies strictly to maintain transparency and logistics consistency throughout the exam process.
The registration for the exam will open on August 8 and will continue until August 25. However, candidates who lose the regular deadline will have the option of registering in line with a backward rate until September 1.
The registration fee for local candidates has set at RS9,000, while those who request a backward rate must pay RS13,000. For candidates that appear from abroad, the standard registration rate is RS45,000 and RS55,000 with the late rate.
The MDCAT 2025 will include 180 MCQS, with 15% of the questions designed to be of a higher difficulty level.
