Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari criticized Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) for not attracting a considerable crowd in his recent rally on Swabi, claiming that even with official resources, the party could not gather 5,000 people.
Bukhari said that the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) had rejected the policy of PTI founder of “disturbances and chaos.”
She claimed that government employees were forced to set assistance to the event, but participation remained.
“Junaid Akbar has failed his first political evidence miserably, while Ali Amin Gandapur once again turned to rudeness to please the founder of PTI,” he said.
In addition, he said that Punjab young people were benefiting from initiatives such as electric bicycles and scholarships, and that the young population of KP deserved the same opportunities.
She announced that PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz would soon present scholarships for students in the province.
Bukhari added that after the failed uprisings of May 9 and November 26, the public had tired of the policy promoted by PTI’s protest, stating that Pakistan was on his way to recovery under Sharifs leadership.
On February 8, PTI organized a demonstration in Swabi, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, to observe “Black Day “Marking a year from the general elections. The party alleges that his mandate during the elections was stolen.
The demonstration also attended the assistance of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s prime minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, and other party leaders.
