With the main PTI effectively expelled from the political ring for the powers they are, the Minister of Information and Culture of Punjab, Azma Bokhari, said on Saturday that the electoral tickets of his party were “hot cake” while taking a blow in the opposition party for opting for the next elections of the next elections.
Azma said that the Parliamentary Board of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) celebrated an in-depth discussion about the partial elections and the internal organization of the party, and added that almost 15 applicants were competing for each seat.
Emphasizing that the final decision on the award of tickets of the party is based solely on the Supreme of the Nawaz Sharif party, he clarified that the role of the Parliamentary Board was limited to recommending to the most appropriate candidates.
In addition, he added that the party has invited suggestions of people interested in playing the next partial elections and that another session of the Parliamentary Board will soon meet to finish the decisions.
Pointing to political rivals, he joked that PTI has already fled from the scope of partial elections, unable to find candidates willing to take the field against PML-N. He added that while PML-N was fully prepared and united, the opposition remained grabbed with confusion and disorder.
The PML-N Punjab chapter recently convened an important organizational meeting at Model Town, Lahore.
The session was chaired by the president of Punjab, Rana Sanaullah, and attended high -level leaders, including Bokhari Azma, Pervaiz Rashid, Anusha Rehman, Saud Majeed, Saifullah Khokhar, Zeeshan Rafiq, Nosheen Iftikhar, Rana Arshad, Mohsin Ranjha, along with coordinators and other organizations.
The meeting focused on planning and preparations for the next partial elections, as well as the expected elections of the local government. During the session, Rana Sanaullah ordered the party leaders to immediately complete the organizational structure and guarantee the complete electoral preparation at all levels.
Discussions on the selection of candidates for partial elections were also held. Party officials at the district level received instructions to accelerate preparations. Rana Sanoullah announced that the party will soon end the appropriate candidates after consultation with the superior leadership.
