Karachi:

The Pakistan Navy launched the designed and designed Locrally PNS Sahiwal weapons on a ceremony held in Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS & EW) on Thursday.

The vice president of Naval Personnel, Vice President Almirante Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami, attended the event as the main guest. The ship, developed under the Marine’s indigenization and self -sufficiency policy, has been designed by the design wing of the Navy platform and was under construction in KS & EW.

Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Admiral Bilgrami praised the collaboration efforts of the Design Wing and Ks & EW, describing the project as a significant milestone in the indigenous naval construction capacity of Pakistan.

The Ministry of Defense Production (MODP) also recognized for its continuous support to strengthen the country’s maritime industrial base.

Highlighting the ship’s capabilities, he pointed out that the arms boat is equipped with high -yield and long -range semi -automatic weapons, which allows him to perform a range of maritime security operations with improved efficiency.

The platform is designed for versatility and can function effectively in coastal and sea environments.

The Vice Admiral also declared that the Navy is considering the serial production of similar ships to support continuous modernization efforts and promote the sustained growth of local naval construction infrastructure.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Navy of Pakistan, Modp, Ks & Ew, and representatives of the naval construction industry.
