Three people, including a police officer, were shot dead and another critical wound when unidentified gunmen opened fire during Tarawih’s sentences in Nanowal, police said Monday.
The attack took place inside a private residence where the faithful had gathered for prayers. The victims were identified as the Imran Butt conveyor, Shahid Butt and the special branch police officer Zafar Iqbal. A fourth person, Shehbaz, suffered serious injuries.
According to initial reports, the shooting was linked to a long -standing rivalry on a private bus stop. The assailants fled the scene before the police arrived.
The District Police officer (DPO) Malik Naveed and a heavy police contingent arrived at the site, moving the bodies to a hospital for their post -mortem exam while the injured received medical care.
The Punjab Inspector, Dr. Usman Anwar, realized the incident, seeks a report by the regional police chief and ordered the immediate arrest of those responsible.
The authorities have promised to use all resources to track perpetrators and guarantee justice.

The CCTV shows the thief initially watching the shoe shelf and then taking the bag from the point of the bag, before moving towards the exit.
