Politicians reach native areas for EID


Islamabad:

While the Eidul Fitr nation on Monday (today), political leaders both in the government and the opposition went to the areas of their home to be with their friends and families on this cheerful occasion.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will celebrate Eid in Lahore with his children and other nearby relatives: Brother Nawaz Sharif and the niece, Punjab main minister, Maryam Nawaz, in Lahore.

President Asif Zardari arrived in Nawabshah on Sunday to celebrate EID in his native district, his son, PPP president, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, will offer eid prayer in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Larkana.

The president of the Senate, Yousaf Raza Gillani, will be in fine on EID day, the president of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, will be in Lahore, and Vice President Ghulam Mustafa Shah will offer Eid Prayer in Nawabshah.

Sindh’s Prime Minister Murad Ali Shah will celebrate EID in Sehwan, while Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Prime Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, will mark the occasion in Dera Ismail Khan. Baluchistan’s prime minister, Sarfaraz Bugti, will observe EID prayers in Quetta.

Federal ministers will also extend throughout the country, with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in Lahore, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif in Sialkot, and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Lahore. The president of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Mohammad Ahmed Khan, will hold EID in his ancestral people, Khai Hathar, in the Kasur district.
The prime minister’s political affairs advisor, Rana Sanaullah, will spend EID day in Faisalabad, where the Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry will offer EID sentences. (With news desktop information)
