Pakistan Railways has started manufacturing new coaches locally with the help of latest technology, according to a Radio Pakistan report.
During the e-Kachhari in Lahore on Monday, Pakistan Railways CEO Amir Ali Baloch said that a new Green Line style train will soon run between Lahore and Karachi.
Issuing orders to further improve the quality of food and beverages in trains and cleanliness, he said it is the duty of the department to provide a clean and comfortable environment to passengers.
He also asked that special care be taken in cleaning the trains.
