President Asif Ali Zardari gives positive by COVID-19


President Asif Ali Zardari has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a statement issued by the President’s Chamber on Wednesday.

The statement confirmed that President Zardari’s personal doctor, Dr. As Hussain, conducted a series of evidence, confirming the diagnosis. Dr. Hussain added that President Zardari has been advised to remain isolated.

“The medical team is ensuring 24 -hour observation to handle their condition effectively,” said Zardari’s doctor. Zardari had been transferred from Nawabshah to a private hospital in Karachi after informing health problems.

In addition, President Asif Ali Zardari will not attend the demonstration scheduled for April 4, according to the sources. The sources also revealed that it has been advised that the president exceeds continuous rest due to health reasons.

In a separate statement today, Sindh Minister Sharjeel Memon dismissed reports that claim that the president was being transferred to Dubai to receive treatment. Memon said the president’s health was improving and that he would soon recover completely.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also spoke with Zardari on the phone, asking about his health and extending the sentences for his recovery. The governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, also contacted Dr. Hussain, expressing concern and offering the best wishes to the president’s health.
