LAHORE:
President Asif Ali Zardari left for Islamabad from Lahore on Wednesday to conclude this brief tour of Punjab.
He arrived in Punjab last week over the weekend and landed at Sheikh Zayed Airport in Rahim Yar Khan, from where he immediately left for Jamal Din Wali.
During his stay, the president traveled to Sadiqabad, Vehari and Multan, before arriving in Lahore on Tuesday.
Interestingly, during his visits to the above-mentioned areas of southern Punjab, Zardari not only spoke at meetings but also had a question and answer session with the local media.
He attacked jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan over his health problems.
