ISLAMABAD:
President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday approved the summary to convene a joint session of Parliament on March 2, 2026, as part of the start of the new parliamentary year.
According to the Presidency, the joint session will be held on March 2 at 3:00 p.m. The joint session of Parliament is convened at the beginning of each parliamentary year.
President Zardari will address the joint session for the ninth time in his capacity as President of Pakistan. His speech is expected to outline national priorities, democratic stability, constitutional supremacy and sustainable economic development.
