The president of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, has expressed his strong belief that China’s growth is beneficial for the region and should not be feared.
Speaking in an interview with Chinese state broadcasters, Zardari stressed that China has never acted as an imperial power, instead choosing a non -intervention policy in the affairs of other countries, said Express News.
Zardari reiterated the strong and long friendship between Pakistan and China, noting that the relationship between the two countries is not only for good times but a “timeless” link.
“We, as neighbors, will continue together,” said Zardari, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to benefit from China’s growth, particularly in areas such as agriculture and infrastructure.
He praised the leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping, noting that under his guide, China has progressed significantly in several sectors, including space and agriculture.
“The development of China is a welcome view for the world, and benefits the region,” said Zardari. He also mentioned that China’s technological advances, especially in areas such as irrigation and environmental management, could help Pakistan’s growth.
Zardari highlighted China’s potential to help the agricultural sector of Pakistan, noting that Pakistan’s yields are currently lower than those of China.
“We are working in special industrial parks for Chinese investments, and we hope to benefit from China’s experience in several sectors,” he added.
President Zardari also praised China’s space program, mentioning that Pakistan is collaborating with China to improve his capabilities in the space sector.
“We are focused on guaranteeing the stability of Pakistan, and our relationship with China remains our priority,” he said.
The five -day visit of President Asif Ali Zardari to China last week reaffirmed the lasting force of Islamabad and the “Ironclad” relationship of Beijing with the detractors. He said it better at the beginning of the conversations with Chinese President Xi Jinping, “Pakistan and China will always be friends, friends for all climate.”
