President Asif Ali Zardari expressed strong support for the armed forces of Pakistan after missile attacks not caused from India, since tensions between the two neighbors with nuclear weapons continue to increase.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif called the president in Aiwan-E-Sadr and reported it on Pakistan’s response, which is carried out under the Bunyan-Un-Marsososoan operation.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, and the Minister of Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, also attended the meeting.
President Zardari praised the military for his “exceptional professionalism and courage” by delivering what he called an “adequate response” to Indian aggression.
He reiterated that Pakistan, despite being a peace -loving nation, had been forced to act in defense of his sovereignty and people after repeated provocations from the other side of the border.
“Pakistan has demonstrated considerable restriction, but the continuous belligerence of India has left us without option to answer decisively,” said the president.
He reaffirmed that the entire nation was firmly behind the Armed Forces and that Pakistan would safeguard his sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs.
While Pakistan has provided details of his response, India has not yet issued an official statement about accusations of missile attacks or military operation.
The government has asked for national unity and expressed its commitment to peace while maintaining its right to defend against external threats.
Pakistan initiated a retaliation action in response to the ongoing Indian aggression in the early hours of Saturday.
As part of the operation, all the bases identified as launch points for attacks against Pakistani civilians and mosques are being specifically attacked.
Multiple strategic objectives are being involved simultaneously as the operation progresses, security sources confirmed.
They declared that Pakistan launched his Al-Fatah missile as part of the ongoing retaliation operation, naming him in honor of Pakistani children who lost their lives in the recent Indian aggression.
They added that Pakistan has not forgotten or forget the sacrifice of these innocent children, who were martyred during cross -border attacks by the Indian forces earlier this week.
Previously, the commander of the Air Force wing of India, Vyomika Singh, declared that the military of India remain committed to de -escalage only if Pakistan corresponds, as tensions in high tensions between the two neighbors of nuclear weapons push them to the edge of the total war.
Singh spoke at a press conference on Saturday together with the colonel of the Indian army Sophia Qureshi and the Foreign Secretary, Vikram Misri, after Pakistan launched retaliation attacks on the Indian objectives.
Colonel Qureshi admitted that the retaliation of Pakistan had damaged the team and the injured personnel in five Indian air bases: Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur, Bhuj and Bathinda, after attacking “more than 26 places.”
