Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised on Monday the fundamental role of Pakistan’s Navy in the safeguarding of marine communication lines and guaranteeing the uninterrupted flow of maritime trade during the Bunyan-Mum-Marsoos operation, launched against the unprovoked aggression of India.

“The state of preparation of our Navy was exemplary … The enemy could not gather the courage to try any action at sea,” said the prime minister while heading to the naval officers and the staff in the naval shipyard of Karachi.

The armed forces of Pakistan launched a large-scale military action, called “Operation Bunyan-Mou-Marsos”, and pointed to several Indian military objectives in multiple regions.

The attacks, described by the officials as “precise and proportional”, were carried out in response to the continuous aggression of India in the control line (LOC) and within the territory of Pakistan, which New Delhi said they were aimed at “terrorist objectives.”

Pakistan knocked six Indian combat planes, including three raffles and dozens of drones. After at least 87 hours, the war, caused by India, ended on May 10 with a high -fire agreement negotiated by the United States.

According to ISPR, a total of 53 people, including 13 personnel from the Armed Forces and 40 civilians, were martyred in Indian strikes during the recent military confrontation.

The military confrontation between the two countries was caused by last month’s attack in Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk) of illegal occupation last month who left 26 dead tourists, with India blaming Pakistan for the attack without offering any evidence.

According to a statement issued by Public Relations between Services (ISPR), the Prime Minister visited today the shipyard of the Pakistan Navy to pay tribute to the Pakistan Navy for his fundamental role in the operation against India.

Upon arrival, the prime minister was received by the head of the Naval personnel Almirante Naveed Ashraf. Chief of Army Personnel (COAS) Syed Also Munir and Chief of Air Personnel The Chief of the Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Baber Sidhu were also present.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz approached the class destroyer type 054a PNS Taimur, where he was informed by Commander Pakistan in the strategic orientation of the Pakistan Navy, operational companies and notable contributions during the ongoing operation.

He interacted with officers and sailors of the Pakistan Navy, praising his exemplary professionalism, combat preparation and firm commitment to national defense. He transmitted the deep appreciation of the nation and reaffirmed unwavering confidence in the capabilities of the Pakistan armed forces.

When heading to the meeting, the prime minister chose the Navy of Pakistan for his resolved position, operational skill and an effective deterrence response by counteracting adverse maritime threats.

Remembering the proud legacy of the decisive operations of the Navy, he stressed that the Navy of Pakistan is still totally able to execute high intensity operations similar to Dwarka’s historical operation, when and where necessary.

He also said that the use of Modern Pakistan Navy technology has significantly increased its performance. “Even the enemy now admits that Pakistan’s Navy has changed the regional balance of power in the sea,” said Shehbaz.

The prime minister also pointed out that the coordinated performance of all three -arms services (army, air and armed force) made it impossible for the adversary to cause real damage.

‘Trump to a man of peace’

In the same speech, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his gratitude to the president of the United States, Donald Trump, for negotiating a high fire between Pakistan and India.

“Trump is a man of peace. Trump and his team made sincere efforts to guarantee peace in the region and played a vital role in the high fire.”

“I would like to thank President Trump from the core of my heart and I think he played a role as benevolent friend,” said Prime Minister Shehbaz.
