Prince and Princess of Wales present Christmas card after last-minute delay

The Prince and Princess of Wales have unveiled their annual Christmas pram.

The cart, posted to Instagram on Thursday, featured the photo of Prince William and Kate Middleton along with their royal children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The adorable family photo comes from the video Kate shared earlier this year, where she announced that she had completed her chemotherapy.

The message alongside the Christmas card read: “Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and New Year” along with “2024” written beneath the family photo of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Additionally, the caption of the post read: “Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.”

It’s worth mentioning that this William and Kate Christmas card arrives a little late with reports suggesting they delayed the release due to some last-minute changes.

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared their Christmas card featuring rare photos of their children, Archie and Lilibet, there was speculation that the Welsh postponed their card to make last-minute changes.

On the other hand, the launch of the Christmas card comes after the couple decided to skip the traditional pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace.

Royal expert Cameron Walker shared on X (formerly Twitter) and said: “NEW: The Prince and Princess of Wales will not be attending lunch at Buckingham Palace today.”

“I understand they are hoping to spend time with family next week in Sandringham and have already traveled to Norfolk. I get the impression this was always the plan,” he added.
