The reality of Prince Andrew is exposed by a real expert.

The Duke of York, which has been marked A “the problem that will not disappear” in the book “entitled: the rise and fall of the York” by Andrew Lownie, is presented rightly.

She told the mirror: “Every few months, there seems to be new accusations about Prince Andrew and spooky stories about his behavior over the years.

“These summer months are destined to be a period of calm and respite for the royal family. But here is the Duke once again, dotted in all newspapers, with graphic stories.

“I am sure that the book will have enraged Andrew. However, I have to say that, for my own experience of meeting the Duke and my conversations with many people who know him or worked with him over the years, there is a distinctive ring on his interpretation in this book. Arrogant, pompous and obsessed with the State was my respectable impression of him.”

She added: “For the king, it must be exasperating to have to read once again about the mischief of his brother. It will be interesting to see if the Duke and the Duchess are invited to Balmoral this year as part of the family’s summer meetings. It could certainly be uncomfortable.
