Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a risky move, sparking anger, ahead of their newly announced tour of Australia.
For the uninitiated, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex accepted an invitation sent by Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO), to visit Jordan recently.
On their two-day humanitarian visit to the war-torn country in February, Harry and Meghan traveled to Amman to undertake a series of engagements that shed light on the significant work being done for affected communities.
From visiting a refugee camp to taking part in the WHO roundtable, the Sussexes made their tour seem real, several experts said.
Among them was also Sky News Australia journalist Louise Roberts, who harshly criticized Harry and Meghan for using their royal ties for their own good.
She gave a solution to the royals that could be detrimental to the Sussexes.
The TV personality said: “Increasingly, the only solution seems to be that Meghan and Harry can be stripped of their titles so that no one can mistake them for working royals.”
This comes amid the stir created once again by Harry and Meghan with the confirmation of their upcoming tour to Australia.
The couple “will visit Australia in mid-April to engage in a series of private, business and philanthropic engagements,” their spokesperson shared.
However, details regarding the visit will be revealed in due course.
