Prince Harry is said to be urging Meghan Markle to join him on a trip to the UK.
Following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s appearance at the star-studded Kardashian party, insiders claimed that Harry wants to reconnect with his roots.
Sources said Nearest magazine that while Meghan had a “dream night” at Kris Jenner’s party, Harry, on the other hand, found the experience “awkward.”
Now, King Charles’ son is “pleading” with his wife to plan a trip to the UK.
“He’s really homesick right now and is begging Meghan to schedule a trip or two to the U.K., but she doesn’t want to hear about it,” the source shared.
He added: “For her, this is a time to grab the opportunity with both hands and there is no reason or excuse for Harry to complain or act like a brat.”
“She needs him in top shape and playing right now, instead of pining for the boring old life they left behind five years ago. She just won’t stand for it,” the source noted.
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in California after leaving their royal roles, the couple socialized with “very different people.”
“There was a time when dinner invitations were coming from the Obamas, George Clooney and even Steven Spielberg, but that didn’t last, and now they found themselves in a totally different social environment,” the source said.
However, the Duke of Sussex has never “been the type to want to meet people just to make connections,” the source noted. “Harry has never been the type to worry about status or networks, he’s perfectly happy to keep his circle small, but in some ways he’s quite a snob.”
However, Harry “understands” that his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, “needs to be out there building her brand, and he respects that, but that doesn’t mean he enjoys it or wants to be dragged along.”
“He finds it all very performative and fake, while Meghan seems to thrive on the whole scene. They are not aligned at all and only time will tell if Harry will continue to grin and bear it,” the source also added.
