Prince Harry could not hold back his tears as he met Britons grieving their precious loss.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are quite vocal about creating safe online spaces for children, are back in the headlines once again as a new battle begins against tech giants to hold them accountable.
In Los Angeles, Harry met with British families who say the negative effects of social media took the lives of their children.
In a video shared by bbc breakfastKing Charles’ son was visibly emotional as he praised the bravery of grieving parents for coming forward and standing firm to fight for safe digital spaces.
According daily mailMeghan also accompanied her husband, who thanked the families for “telling their stories again and again” in hopes of seeking “truth, justice and accountability.”
Speaking to those present at the somber gathering, Harry said:
“We’ve said time and time again that this is a David versus Goliath situation. I’ve been in similar, very different situations myself.”
The Duke of Sussex cited his legal battles and how the “other side” in court makes one feel overwhelmed with emotions.
“Don’t feel embarrassed, don’t worry. Even if the judge, as I heard, turned around and asked you not to show emotions,” Harry shared.
At the end of his message, Archie and Lilibet’s father expressed his gratitude to all parents for sharing their perspectives in their goal of creating a healthy online environment for children.
