Prince Harry shows his shame when remembering his stay in the United Kingdom.
The Duke of Sussex admits he misses life as a British soldier despite all the love he has received in America.
Speaking about his final essay before Remembrance Day, communications expert Judi James said: “Yet he seems embarrassed by this ‘revelation’. By adding ‘however ridiculous it may seem’, he appears to be apologizing to his American audience, perhaps even to his own family, for this admission of nostalgia and what sounds like a sense of longing.”
“This is also an important-sounding admission. Most expats crave jars of Marmite or bags of English tea, but Harry is letting everyone, including Meghan here, know that he lacks a kind of intense, complex, shared humor that he may not be able to get in the United States,” he notes.
Prince Harry left the Royal Family in 2020 along with his wife Meghan Markle and their son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showing racism towards their son and publicly shared their complaints on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
