Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a sweet interaction with a retriever labrador in the Invictus Games.
While attending the curling event in wheelchair on February 9, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex met Ali Harper and his dog Thorn, who is a 3 -year -old retriever labrador and supports the mental health trips of the lifeguards in The Yukón.
Seeing Thorn reminded the Duke and Beagle’s boy from Meghan, who died recently.
“Harry approached and sat right next to Thorn and knelt and began to caress him and said how strange his dog,” said Harper, 43. People. “And they said thank you very much for what we do with Thorn.”
She said Meghan had a “small interaction with Thorn too, and then we could take a group photo.”
Meghan rescued Guy in 2015 from a shelter to kill and the couple adopted him. The Duchess even announced her death on her Instagram account with a moving publication that includes many Guy photos with the family over the years.
“I was with me in costumes, when I committed myself (and then I got married), when I became a mother … I was with me for everything: the quiet, chaos, calm, comfort,” Meghan wrote.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also pet parents from a Beagle rescue senior named Mamma Mia and a black labrador named Pula.
