Prince Harry was prevented from becoming a tattoo in the days.
The Duke of Sussex discouraged with his skin entntated by his nearby friends during a 2012 trip to Las Vegas.
Writing in his memoirs ‘about’, Harry revealed the dialogue between his friends: “I need something to commemorate this trip, I decided. Something to symbolize my sense of freedom, my sense of Carpe Diem. For example … a tattoo? Yes! Only the thing!”
Harry, 40, added: “Maybe on my shoulder? No, too visible. Does it?
The Duke continued in the 2023 book: “Now, what would be the tattoo? I thought and thought. What is important to me? What is sacred? Of course, Botswana. I had seen a tattoo in the block. I hoped they had a good atlas, with a clear map of Botswana.”
“I went to find Billy The Rock to tell him where we were going. He smiled.
“My colleagues backed him on. Absolutely not. In fact, they promised to stop me physically. I was not going to make me a tattoo, they said, not under their watch, and less a Botswana foot tattoo.”
Explaining also, he added: “They promised to hold me, knock me out, whatever it has needed. A tattoo is permanent; it is forever!
