Prince Harry waves and receives good luck applause on the second day of the trial.

Prince Harry arrived at the Royal Courts of Justice on Tuesday morning with a brief smile that broke the tension, as his supporters lined the pavement shouting messages of affection shortly after 10am.

The supporters cheered and one of them shouted: “Harry, I love you!” and another shouting: “Good luck, Prince!”

The Duke of Sussex should not take the stand today. Instead, he returned to court to hear his legal team continue to lay out the case, and his lawyer, David Sherborne, resumed opening arguments from the previous day.

Addressing the court, Sherborne focused his attention on Harry’s claim, arguing that few figures generated more tabloid fascination than the King’s youngest son.

According to him, stories about Prince Harry’s private world were treated like commercial gold, relentlessly pursued because they boosted sales.

Barrister claims the tabloids pursued him as a source of income, ignoring the risks.

He told the judge that this obsession went beyond the headlines, claiming that his movements were closely monitored, a practice that he warned led to serious security problems.

The duke is one of seven high-profile claimants involved in the case, alongside Sir Elton John, David Furnish, Baroness Doreen Lawrence, Sadie Frost, Elizabeth Hurley and former MP Sir Simon Hughes.
