Prince Harry once spent £ 8,000 with a rare gift for the baptism of his nephew Prince Louis, a first edition of Winnie The Pooh of 1926.
This special gift was a tribute to her late mother, Princess Diana, who loved the collection of the first editions of classic books.
According The express, Harry wanted to continue this tradition starting a small library for Prince Louis and his brothers, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
“One of Harry’s happiest childhood memories was to have read a story when lying for his mother,” said a friend of the Duke of Sussex at that time.
They added: “She loved all the old classics and Harry had the brilliant idea of starting a small library of first editions for Louis, Charlotte and George to enjoy as they age.”
Louis is celebrating his seventh birthday today, however, due to the crack with his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, it is not known if Harry would approach with a birthday desire or a present.
