Prince Harry’s latest comments in an interview with The Guardian have revived tensions with his brother Prince William while echoing the past claims in his Netflix.
In the program Harry and MeghanThe Duke of Sussex accused the palace staff of Lying to protect William while Meghan was “fed with the wolves.”
Talk with The mirror, Public Relations expert Mayah Riaz said that Harry’s continuous public criticisms are part of a pattern that helps him control the narrative.
She said that Harry wants to position herself as honest and harmed, adding that although this strategy can gain the support of people who distrust the monarchy, it also increases bets for reconciliation.
“Taking a blow to his brother guarantees the headlines and reinforces his story of being the harmed party,” he explained.
Riaz continued: “In his world, silence could be seen as a weakness, while speaking feels like strength and authenticity. The risk is that if he continues to reveal more and more, people can eventually get tired of it and see him less as courage, more like an overvalt.
“When it comes to reconciliation, each public comment like this makes things more difficult. Repairing relationships generally needs a sequence that is true, recognition, apologize (if necessary), then go to healing.”
The expert also said: “When criticizing William so openly, Harry elevates bets. The real ones have to answer, what we know tend to avoid or remain silent, which makes the division look wider.
“However, from the point of view of the strategy, it allows you to be transparent and mainly, which resonates with people who already distrust the institutions and the honesty of reward.”
