Prince William is “quietly” preparing to step forward and take the throne amid growing concerns about King Charles’ health.

According to royal expert Rob Shuter, the ‘fragile’ King Charles has sparked fresh panic over his health and “the palace can no longer hide this.”

Writing for your substack ShuterScoopRob says: “They are quietly preparing William to step forward, quickly,” a senior courtier reveals. “The illusion of perfect health is collapsing.”

He made these statements following the recent joint appearance of King Charles and Prince William.

“In a rare joint appearance with Prince William at the COP30 climate summit in London, the 76-year-old monarch appeared alarmingly thin, pale and frail,” the expert said.

Royal source tells expert King Charles ‘had a suit hanging off’: “He looked like a man fighting something bigger than he lets on.”

Rob concludes: “Although Buckingham Palace insists Charles is “well” and “continuing on light duties”, royal aides privately admit that the optics are “impossible to interpret.”

While official statements remain relentlessly optimistic, veteran observers are less convinced. “You can’t Photoshop fragility,” says one palace observer. “What we are seeing is the reality behind the crown: a monarch in decline.”

Earlier, King Charles and William attended the countdown to COP30.

“The event brought together climate and nature leaders, alongside innovative UK-led solutions to nature’s biggest challenges. Tackling biodiversity loss and climate change is more important now than ever,” the palace shared photos of the father and son on social media.
