Prince William talks about the sudden diseases of Kate Middleton and King Carlos.
The Prince of Wales, who was with Eugene Levy in the last episode of ‘The Reluctant Traveller’, says he has not had many diseases in the family.
The Prince of Wales confessed: “We were very lucky, it had not had many diseases in the family for a long time. My grandparents lived up to 90 years.
“Then, they were the vision of fitness, stoicism and resilience, if you want. So we were very lucky as a family.” Then he became reference to the diagnosis of cancer of his father, King Carlos, and the diagnosis of his wife Kate.
Then he said: “But I think, when suddenly you realize that the carpet, if you were, the metaphorical carpet can be removed from under the feet quite fast at any time. You may think: ‘It will not happen to us, we will be fine.’
“Because I think everyone has a positive perspective, you have to be positive. But when it happens to you, it takes you to places that are not very good,” said William.
