Prince William’s college classmate Ben Duncan, a socialite, has died.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told several media outlets that the reality star died last week after falling from a London rooftop bar, reportedly at the seven-story Trafalgar St. James hotel.

“Officers responded to concerns about a man on the roof of a building on Cockspur Street, Westminster, at 11.02pm on Thursday 30 October. Unfortunately, the man fell from a height,” they said.

“Despite the best efforts of the London Ambulance Service, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene,” the MPD spokesperson explained.

“His death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious,” he said.

Duncan attended the University of St Andrews in Scotland with the future Prince and Princess of Wales, which is where the royal couple’s romance began.

She gave an interview to the Daily Mail in November 2010 in which she spoke about the blossoming of their relationship throughout their college years.

“Because we had had Will and Kate with us, we had royal protection officers swarming the place. We knew they had hit it off and we knew something was going on, but they were left alone to get on with it,” he said.

After graduating, Duncan appeared in series 11 of the UK series. Big Brotherthe last season which aired on Channel 4. He was the sixth housemate to be evicted.
