Prince William will visit Sheffield on Tuesday, July 1 to commemorate the second anniversary of the Homowards UK program of the Royal Foundation.
According to a report, during his time in the city, HRH will undertake commitments to highlight the progress made in the last 12 months.
In June 2023, Prince William launched a five -year project that sought to end the lack of housing in Britain, saying that he was following in the footsteps of his late Princess Diana, who had warned him about the crisis when he was a child.
William, 41, the eldest son of King Charles and the heir of the throne, said that the “backward” scheme would work in six towns and cities and develop new solutions that could be used throughout the country.
According to the Royal Foundation, more than 300,000 people, half of whom are children, are sleeping hard or in cars, living in temporal accommodation, shelters or family members. Benefit organizations have warned that these numbers are expected to increase due to the continuous cost of the life crisis.
The program, described as “a massive moment for the prince,” for its spokesman, is William’s most significant project since he became Prince of Wales after the death of her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, last September.
