Prince William is said to have been the strongest voice urging King Charles to act against his brother, the former Prince Andrew, after weeks of mounting royal pressure.

talking to Online radarsA source revealed that the Prince of Wales became frustrated after Andrew issued a statement saying he would “put my duty to my family and country first” as he resigned his honours.

According to the report, many people saw Andrew’s statement as self-serving and it angered William.

“He was furious that the king had previously manipulated his deal with Andrew and allowed him to make an earlier statement, making him look very honourable,” a source revealed.

Additionally, Queen Camilla also urged decisive action citing risks to the monarchy and an explosive 30-year dossier on Andrew and Sarah Ferguson sealed the decision.

They said the queen consort was “really irritated” after reading Andrew’s statement and had urged Charles to act or risk “irreparable institutional damage”.
