Prince William and Kate Middleton, the prince and the princess of Wales are ready to move to his new home in Windsor Great Park along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince William.
The future king and queen have chosen Forest Lodge, a georgian mansion of eight rooms worth approximately 16 million, such as his “home forever” now.
According to the reports, the property has been in real possession since 1829 and it was the last time it was rented in £ 15,000 per month in 2001.
Now, property expert Russell Quirk said Manchester Evening News That the rent has doubled in the last two decades, with William and Kate will probably pay around £ 30,000 per month to Crown Estate.
As cited by MirrorRussell said: “In the last 20 years, these things vary from region to region, city to city, but it is enough to say that Windsor tastes have become increasingly popular, particularly with tenants abroad.”
Then he added: “What has happened in recent years in the previous government and this is that the timbre tax regime in purchases has been increasingly criminal and the consequence now is that many people are renting instead of buying because they do not want to pay a property like that, let’s say a timbre tax of £ 1 million.”
“Therefore, the rental market in terms of demand is very strong. As a consequence of that, that property has probably doubled in terms of its rental value, so £ 15,000 per month in 2001 is now probably £ 30,000 per month, around £ 7,000 per week. It is not insubstantial, lots and much demand,” said Russell.
This decision by Prince William and Kate Middleton marks as a step of the Buckingham Palace, where future kings have traditionally resided.
