Princess Anne’s Olympic diary in Milan is becoming more and more impressive.
Along with Sir Tim Laurence, he participated in a meeting with world leaders on the eve of the Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games.
The meeting brought together the Heads of State and Government of the participating countries, with Anne and Sir Tim rubbing shoulders with Italian President Sergio Mattarella, his daughter Laura, the First Lady of Italy and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
The meeting capped a busy Milan schedule in which Anne and Sir Tim enjoyed the Olympic opening ceremony at San Siro, attended receptions celebrating British excellence and connected with global leaders who are shaping the future of international sport.
Mariah Carey performed a spectacular performance of Nel Blu, Dipinto Di Blu, giving the Italian classic a brilliant global spin.
Anne and Sir Tim were in distinguished company throughout the evening, along with Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Nora of Liechtenstein.
The Princess Royal’s visit to Milan was not limited to stadium seats and applause.
Before the ceremony, he was at a reception hosted at the British Consulate General, celebrating UK excellence and innovation in Italy.
Donatella Versace shared the moment on Instagram and called it a “great honor” to meet the Princess Royal.
